Our cold store also has freezing tunnels that can bring your fresh products to a temperature of -24o Celsius within 24 hours. If required, Frigo Group Logistics/Frigo Group Transport will take care of the frozen transport of the goods, at home and abroad. We are ISO 9001 and IFS Logistics certified.
WMS frozen storage
We use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for the entry, storage and exit of batches of frozen foods. This streamlines the flow of goods to, from and within our frozen storage facility as well as our internal stock management. We are at the forefront of frozen food storage when it comes to the application of smart ICT solutions. But a customer is never a number to us. Our added value is partly determined by the customisation we offer: within the WMS, customer-specific wishes can be taken into account.
Storage of refrigerated or frozen foodstuffs
When your chilled or frozen food arrives, our staff check all batches for quantity, temperature and quality. We also offer the possibility of taking individual quality samples per pallet that can be tested by your own QA department. If necessary, the pallets are provided with an SSCC label (EAN128) for tracking & tracing purposes.
Results as you wish
Upon release, orders are read into our WMS via EDI or entered manually by our staff. These orders then appear on the displays of our staff in the cold store, who prepare the goods for deep-freeze transport and, if required, they are given a destination label. Output does not always have to be at pallet level, we can also carry out order picking or other Value Added Logistics (VAL) activities for you.
